Georgia man poses as deliveryman; executes ex’s new boyfriend outside apartment

A Georgia man was charged with murder after he allegedly posed a delivery man and lured his victim outside his apartment before shooting him dead.

Donovan Carter, 33, was arrested hours after the fatal shooting of 40-year-old Kenneth Cunningham on January 3.

Marietta Police Spokesperson Chuck McPhilamy said Carter traveled more than an hour to reach Cunningham’s home in Cobb County to kill him.

  • “This was a preplanned, premeditated event that took place,” McPhilamy said revealing that Cunningham was killed on his 40th birthday.

    “He was expecting a package. He was being lured out of his own apartment under the guise of there is a package waiting for you,”

    “And it was only then that the suspect confronted him and brutally shot him.”

    The official confirmed that Cunningham was the boyfriend of Carter’s former partner which is likely the motive of the murder.
