Missouri teens shoot man 14 times; kill him after he started acting erratically at home

Two Missouri teens, including a minor, were arrested this week after allegedly shooting a 23-year-old man more than a dozen times at a St. Charles County home.

Jackson L. Pierce, 18, is facing second-degree murder charges after he admitted to a witness to shooting Dalton Coleman Monday when he started acting erratically.

Pierce was reportedly with a juvenile when the incident occurred. The two teens retreated to a bedroom to get away from Coleman.

  • But the victim broke into the bedroom and tried to punch Pierce, he told detectives, at which point he fired several shots at him.

    The two teens tried to clean the murder scene, wrapping the victim’s body in an air mattress and placing his head in a garbage bag.

    The juvenile suspect was also arrested and transferred to the St. Charles County Family Court for prosecution.
