Florida man charged for intentionally running over deer; posting crash video on TikTok

A 27-year-old Florida man was charged this week after he allegedly admitted to purposely running over a deer, recording the crime, and posting the video on TikTok.

Clay Neil Kinney was arrested in a traffic stop in Geneva on Dec. 28 after a detective recognized his blue 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe from the disturbing video.

Kinney admitted to the detective that his driving license was suspended and that he had tried to run over five deer for his video.

  • “Clay Kinney was advised of his Miranda rights and admitted post-Miranda to intentionally running over the deer with the vehicle he was driving,” an arrest report reads.

    “During the video, Clay Kinney attempted to run over five deer in total however he was only able to hit one deer with his vehicle.”

    The suspect was charged in connection to the “conservation” offenses with five counts of animal torment, one count each of animal torture, and one moving traffic violation.
