A Florida man was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside a trash can on Tuesday.
54-year-old Armando Benavides was wanted for the attempted murder of his ex-wife hours before his body was located in Miami’s West Kendall area.
It was a county waste truck driver who alerted authorities after spotting the man’s body fall into his vehicle.

Police said Benavides lived with his ex-wife and two children, an adult and a teen, before he shot her on Monday.
He was wanted for the shooting that left the victim with non-life-threatening injuries when he committed suicide.
Benavides would have turned 55 on Christmas Day.
