Winter Springs news, Florida news.

A Florida mother-of-four was found dead in a storage unit Saturday, more than a week after she was last seen alive leaving a restaurant with her estranged husband.

Shakeira Rucker, 37, was last seen on Nov. 11. Her husband has since been arrested on unrelated attempted murder charges.

On Saturday, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Self Storage at 2400 Wiggins Road in Apopka after a 911 caller complained of a foul odor.

Rucker reportedly declined to talk about his wife’s disappearance and was not named a suspect in the murder case.

“I just want my mom to come back,” Rucker’s 16-year-old daughter said.

“It’s hard, her not being here, because I’m always with her. It’s like I can’t live without her. She’s all I know.”
