Minnesota man gets caught in hay-crushing machine; dies in freak accident

A 31-year-old Minnesota man was tragically killed in a freak accident this week after he was caught in a farming machine, Rice County authorities said.

Mitchell Kenneth Gregory was dead when deputies responded to reports of an accident at his home at around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.

    “Mitchell loved farming, and had a deep passion for his beef cattle,” an obituary for the victim read.

    It remains unclear how Gregory ended up caught in the equipment. His death was ruled an accident.
