A toddler is listed in critical condition after they accidentally fired a gun discarded by a teen suspect fleeing cops Friday afternoon.
Police in Las Vegas said that the teen had shot an adult on a transportation bus and was trying to flee when he jumped a wall dropping the loaded weapon into a daycare playground.

The victim picked up the gun and fired a shot hitting themselves. Authorities only identified the child as being under the age of 5.
“We are consulting with the DA on all applicable charges as well as considering charging that individual as an adult,” LVMPD Deputy Chief Reggie Rader said.
