A father and son were found dead in separate locations in an apparent murder-suicide Wednesday, Anne Arundel County Police said.
Officers were initially called to an apartment complex in the 500 block of Retreat Court in Odenton shortly before 10 a.m. over a suspicious death.
Once there, officers found a 34-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound.
Later on, authorities responded to reports of another deceased man who was found in the parking lot of a shopping center on Fort Meade.
Investigators determined that the second victim died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was the father of the first victim.
