A Tennessee couple is facing a slew of charges after they allegedly claimed the woman’s toddler went missing while she was actually beaten to death.

Brittney Jackson, 25, and Jaylon Hobson, 21, were charged with two counts each of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, and abuse of a corpse among other counts.

On June 15, the suspects reported 4-year-old Sequoia Samuels missing claiming that she left the apartment while they were asleep.
