Severed human leg found in dumpster behind Queens bank

The NYPS is investigating the gruesome discovery of a severed human leg in a dumpster.

On Wednesday, at around 6:30 p.m., a passerby called 911 to report spotting a human leg sticking out of a red dumpster behind a TD Bank at 164th Street and Union Turnpike in Hillcrest.

    Little information was immediately available about the victim; detectives were reviewing surveillance footage from the area in the hopes of identifying a suspect.
