Los Angeles realtor found dead inside apartment in suspected homicide

Authorities in Los Angeles are investigating the death of a 31-year-old model and realtor as a homicide after her body was discovered inside her apartment earlier this week.

The concerned family of Maleesa Mooney requested a welfare check on Tuesday after she went heard from.

“When a week went by, we just knew something was off,” a cousin of the victim said.

    Mooney was an aspiring model, art dealer, and licensed real estate agent with a Beverly Hills firm. Police have yet to name a suspect in her death.

    “We will get justice for you, my sister; I promise you won’t be gone in vain,” Mooney’s sister said.
