Authorities in Oklahoma City are investigating a quadruple murder-suicide on Thursday after a 28-year-old father killed his three children and his estranged wife before he committed suicide.
Officers found the slain family while responding to a domestic disturbance late on Wednesday.
They believe Ruben Armendariz shot dead his 29-year-old Cassandra Flores, and their children aged 9, 5, and 2 years old before taking his own life.

Sgt. Gary Knight said that police have never responded to the married but separated couple’s home before the tragedy.
“They’re still trying to figure out what led up to this,” Knight said.
“Sometimes we just never know. Nobody seems to have seen it coming. If they did, no one alerted us.”
