Westchester news, New York news.

The NYPD is investigating the deaths of a prominent cancer doctor and her baby as a murder-suicide after they were found deceased inside the mother's Westchester residence Saturday.

Authorities said that Dr. Krystal Cascetta, 40, entered her baby's room at around 7 a.m. and shot the child dead before turning the gun on herself.

The incident occurred at her $1 million Somers house where she and her husband, Talty Bars' owner Tim Talty, lived.
