A Minnesota boy, 3, is dead after he “got a hold” of his father’s unsecured 9mm handgun and fired a shot at himself, police said.
The victim, identified as Thomas Pauza-Moore shot himself in the head and died at the scene at around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said that the boy’s father and a roommate were downstairs when they heard commotion and a gunshot.
The Pine County Sheriff’s Office said there were several other weapons at the home including an AR-15 rifle and a shotgun.
No charges have been filed in connection with the fatal shooting.
