A Virginia woman is behind bars, accused of killing her mother inside their Danville home on Saturday.
Police were conducting a welfare check at 11:45 a.m. when they arrived at the 100 block of Wimbish Place and discovered the victim's body.

61-year-old Marie Boynton was suffering from several stab injuries, police said. She died at the scene.
Boynton's 44-year-old daughter Ebonie Michelle Holm was subsequently busted on second-degree murder charges over her mother's death.
