Memphis Rapper Casino Jizzle is dead after a shooting in his hometown on Tuesday, his manager announced.
Born Robert Tunstall, the rapper was gunned down near Elmore Park days before he was set to release his new album.
Police responded to the rapper's murder scene at around 6:30 p.m. on July 4. He was pronounced dead from fatal gunshot wounds.
Authorities identified the gunman as 27-year-old Michael Clayton. He fled the scene in a black vehicle and remains at large.
The 27-year-old artist had been promoting his album DUH on social media a few hours before his death.
In 2019, the rapper was targeted in a similar ambush outside a Chuck E. Cheese in Cordova.
In that incident, Casino Jizzle was critically wounded after sustaining gunshot wounds to the chest and back.
