Texas teen slaughters parents, siblings because they were 'cannibals', wanted to eat him

The Nash, Texas teen accused of shooting his parents and siblings to death Tuesday told witnesses that he did so because the victims were “cannibals” who wanted to eat him.

Cesar Olalde, 18, was arrested following a brief standoff with police and faces multiple capital murder charges.

The teen allegedly shot and killed Reuben Olalde, Lisbet Olalde, Oliver Olalde, and Aida Garcia-Mendoza before dragging their bodies to the residence's bathroom.

  • He then called 911 to report that he “pulled the trigger” and killed his family, naming his father, Reuben Olalde.

    When Cesar's mother failed to show up for work on Tuesday, her coworker went to the home to check on her and found other relatives at the scene.

    The 35-year-old man told detectives that Cesar to the concerned people who visited the home that morning that he slaughtered his parents and siblings because he believed that they were “cannibals”.

    He is now being held on a $10,000,000 bond.
