A missing Texas teen was found dead at the bottom of a cliff by her mother who used a cell phone app to locate her daughter when she couldn't reach her.
Siri Reddy, 16, was not at her Keystone School on Thursday when her mother came to pick her up prompting the mom to start tracking Reddy's phone.
The information she received led her to a wooded area around Heroes Stadium in the Hills of Park North section.
The honor roll student was initially not found by her mother who called 911 and kept searching until discovering the lifeless body.
Officers declared Reddy dead at the scene; It remains unclear what the teen was doing in the woods, 12 miles away from her school at the time of her death.
"She was a member of the National Honor Society, an award-winning member of the school's Science Fair team, a member of the Upper School robotics team, and contributed to the school newspaper," said Keystone's head of school William Handmaker of the late teen.
"Last year, she sang 'Vedrai Carino' by Mozart at Music Fest at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, and she sang in the cast of the Upper School musical Grease."
