Austin authorities are investigating the death of an American Airlines employee who suffered injuries in an accident at Austin-Bergstorm International Airport Thursday.
The man was found with “traumatic injuries” at around 2 p.m. after an accident in the area where planes pull up to the terminal, airport officials said.

The victim was reportedly driving a service vehicle when he struck a jet bridge, police said.
“We are devastated by the accident involving a team member at Austin-Bergstorm International Airport,” a spokeswoman for American Airlines said.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and our local team members.”
