An Ohio woman is free after she allegedly stabbed a 17-year-old girl during a fight outside a convenience store late Sunday.
Bryanna Barozzini, 18, allegedly confessed to swinging a knife while fighting victim Halia Culbertson at 161 Carryout in Columbus.
The girls started fighting inside the store shortly before midnight, witnesses said. They kept fighting in the parking lot where the suspect stabbed Culbertson, left her for dead, and went back to her Westerville home.
The teen died minutes later at Ohio Health Riverside Medical Center, authorities said.
Barozzini was arrested at her home and charged with murder. Her lawyer argued that she stabbed the victim in “self-defense.”
The judge set Barozzini's bond at $750,000, which she posted, and ordered her not to approach Culberton's family or possess weapons.
