Orange County news, Florida news.

An Orange County Sheriff's deputy is on life support, unlikely to survive a serious brain injury he suffered while training at the gym Monday.

Deputy Michael Milmerstadt suddenly suffered an excruciating headache during the training session, authorities said.

At the hospital, doctors determined that his headache was a life-threatening brain injury, and was placed on life support.

The Sheriff's Office said that Milmerstadt's wife and three sons told him goodbye as he is not expected to recover.
