Baltimore news, Maryland news.

Authorities in Baltimore are investigating the death of a baseball stadium greeter whose skeletal remains were discovered outside a local church earlier this month as a homicide.

75-year-old Versey Spell went missing on October 19, 2022, from her home in the 3900 block of Barrington Road.

Spell's rented home was found in disarray with her door kicked open and her glasses “out in the grass.”

Spell's sister had said that her mysterious disappearance was terrible.

“I don't sleep. I don't eat. The whole family's just, we just don't know because she wasn't like that. She had polio and she has lupus.”
