Missing concertgoer found in submerged car near site of Florida music festival

The body of a missing concertgoer was discovered inside a submerged car near the site of a Florida music festival featuring rapper Lil Yachty and Earth Wind & Fire.

On March 4, deputies with the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office found the missing man's body according to a statement they published on March 9.

“Another festival attendee located a submerged body of an unresponsive male in the water around noon,” the statement said.

“The body recovered was identified as Steven Nguyen from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Steven was last seen at 11:00 p.m. the previous night by a personal friend.”

    The victim's friends bashed the police for not revealing Nguyen's death earlier.

    “We are still desperately searching for answers during this time,” Nick Eaux said on Facebook.

    “I want justice for Stevie. I NEED justice for Stevie...We are still in the dark about our friend's passing and even worse, so is his family.”
