Waynesville news, Missouri news.

Two women were charged after a 5-year-old girl was found dead from significant abuse at a Waynesville, Missouri home.

Police discovered the victim with “significant” marks on her wrists, ankles, and neck with a blood-stained sock near her body after her younger brother told a school official that he saw her unresponsive before coming to class.

Angela West, 39, and Shamira Buford, 36, told investigators that the sock was used to silence the girl because she cried, preventing her siblings from sleeping at night.
