An Arkansas teen is behind bars after he allegedly shot and killed his father amid an argument that initially didn't involve the man.
Officers were called to a Magnolia Street home on Sunday after a woman reported that “her son had shot his father.”
By the time they arrived, officers found that family members had begun life-saving measures on Adam Meade, 38, but their efforts went to no avail.
Jamanique Mease, 19, was arrested and booked into the Mississippi County Detention Center on suspicion of first-degree murder.
Detectives learned that the teen was arguing with his mother for two days before the father got involved in the dispute on Sunday.
“During the argument with Jamanique and Adam, Jamanique produced a handgun and fired two shots at Adam striking him both times,” police said.
