Authorities in Succasunna are investigating a murder-suicide after the bodies of a family were discovered inside their home early Tuesday.

Officers made the horrifying find while conducting a welfare check at the Justine Place home, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. All the victims were shot dead.

Investigators believe that a father shot his wife and teenage son to death before turning the weapon on himself.
