A Florida death row inmate had harsh words for Governor Ron DeSantis as he made his last statement moments before his execution Thursday evening.

Donald Dillbeck, 59, received the lethal injection at Starke for the 1990 fatal stabbing of 44-year-old Faye Vann; he was pronounced dead at 6:13 p.m. but not before slamming DeSantis.

“I know I hurt people when I was young but I know Ron DeSantis has done a lot worse,” the inmate said.

“He's taken a lot from a lot of people. I speak for all men, women, and children.”
