Baltimore teen, 18, trades puppy for shotgun before shooting younger brother, 8, dead

A Baltimore teen is facing criminal charges over the Dec. 30 shooting death of his 8-year-old brother.

18-year-old Devin Wilson was reportedly babysitting his four younger siblings when he accidentally shot his brother at the family's home in the 2100 block of Presbury Street.

Wilson reportedly told his stepfather that the victim shot himself. But he was later found attempting to commit suicide in his room and confessed to the killing.

    On Tuesday, Wilson was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree murder, assault, and weapons count.

    His stepfather revealed that he had recently become interested in guns and even traded his puppy for the shotgun that killed his brother.
