3 siblings under the age of five die in ‘devastating’ NC house fire

Authorities in Greensboro, North Carolina said that three children under the age of five perished in a horrific house fire Monday.

The victims’ bodies were pulled from the burning property out a bedroom window and were all pronounced dead at the scene.

Firefighters said that four other children lived at the home but were at school when the tragedy struck.

  • The kids’ mom was hospitalized in stable condition and is expected to survive her injuries, they added. The cause of the deadly fire remains undetermined.

    “This is devasting,” Greensboro Fire Department Official Dwayne Church said.

    “This is devasting to the Fire Department, devastating to the community and this family.”
