A crash at a Kilgore, Texas parking lot was the doing of a furry driver with four paws.
Police said that several eyewitnesses spotted a dog behind the wheel of a moving truck before it ran into two cars in the parking lot of a Walmart Thursday.
“One of the victims saw the suspect barreling down on him but couldn’t get out of the way. He was shocked to see the driver was a dog! Yep, the pooch was actually behind the wheel when the crash occurred,” the Kilgore Police Department said.
Investigators later determined that the pet was left unattended in the truck while his owners went shopping and that he may have put the truck on drive and released the emergency brake with his leash.
“It doesn’t sound feasible but an eyewitness saw the pooch behind the wheel just before the crash. He certainly has a guilty look on his face,” the KPD.
