North Carolina authorities are investigating the deaths of two people found in the front seats of a car where two babies were also found, shivering from cold Thursday.

At around 6 a.m., workers noticed the bodies of Destiny Wiggins, 24, and Devone Brown, 28, with apparent gunshot wounds inside the car.

Officers responded to the scene where they discovered that two children, toddler-age, were in the back seat of the vehicle, unharmed.
