Albuquerque news, New Mexico news.

The dismembered, disemboweled body of a New Mexico woman was discovered by her horrified relatives who came looking for her and her dementia-stricken husband for Thanksgiving dinner.

Karlan Denio, 62, was lying in bed near his wife Connie’s remains in a gruesome scene at around 1 p.m. Thursday.

The family grew worried when the couple didn’t answer the door and called 911 before breaking down a garage door into the residence and making the discovery.

The suspect suffered injuries in the legs and neck as he lied in darkness, with the victim’s remains on the ground next to his bed.
