A Florida woman is dead after she was fatally injured in a crash while on a test drive in Winter Haven Saturday.
The victim, identified as 76-year-old Jean Worme, was a passenger in the 2023 Nissan Rogue that was being test driven by 86-year-old Clifford Worme.
The pair were accompanied by the Hill Nissan car dealership sales representative, authorities said.
At around 5:42 p.m., Clifford Worme crashed into a Nissan Murano heading westbound on Cypress Gardens Boulevard as he made a left turn back to the dealership.
The collision claimed Jean’s life at the scene while Clifford sustained minor injuries. The sales representative and the driver of the other car were not hurt.
Authorities said that all those involved in the crash were wearing seatbelts.
