Birdsboro news, Pennsylvania news.

Authorities in Pennsylvania said that the deceased man found at a Birdsboro recycling facility Saturday was a 19-year-old drummer visiting family from New Jersey.

Remains of Kellen Bischoff were discovered at Total Recycling Facility at around 8:45 a.m., police said.

The teen was caught in surveillance footage climbing into a dumpster on Constitution Boulevard earlier that morning before a garbage truck arrived and emptied the trash.

Police identified the victim through his unique tattoos; according to his family, Bischoff graduated with honors last spring and joined Full Sail University. He was also a drummer for a Jersey Shore band, Hellfire.

“Kellen was the drummer in our band Hellfire and was a dear friend of all of ours. He was very dedicated and passionate about music and our band,” bandmate Julian Contreras said.

“Due to his unfortunate and tragic passing, we have set up this GoFundMe to help the Bischoff family for any expenses such as the funeral.”
