In a Fox News interview late Tuesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said that he was “very thankful” to President Joe Biden for his willingness to help ahead of major storm Ian.

DeSantis’ remarks came after a phone call with The President that discussed the preparations for the Hurricane including providing federal assistance to the state.

“What I said today is my phone line is open when people’s lives and their property are at risk like this,” the governor said.
