A Wyoming man was arrested in Mexico after US and Mexican authorities worked together to locate him, Police said.
Yenly Garcia, 44, stands accused of shooting Mollie Schmidt to death late last month in his Kent apartment and leaving her there.
Police searched Garcia’s home and found the mom’s body after learning she was with the suspect in the days leading to her disappearance.

Inside the apartment, investigators also found an AR-15 rifle and a .12-gauge shotgun in addition to ammunition.
Police said that on August 25, Garcia unsuccessfully attempted to steal the victim’s money using her bank card.
Garcia was arrested this week in northern Mexico and is awaiting extradition to Wyoming.
