Washington DC news, Washington news.

The frantic search for a missing Olympia High School student ended with his arrest on murder charges after detectives determined he had staged his own disappearance to cover up the murder of his mother’s ex-boyfriend.

Gabriel Davies, 16, was found wandering with no shirt and no shoes hours after he left his blood-spattered vehicle and broken phone behind.

“Davies initially told a detective that he could not remember what had happened to him, or where he had been during his disappearance,” prosecutors said.
