A Lynn woman killed herself after shooting to death her father, her brother-in-law, and the man’s father earlier this week.
Khosay Sharifi, 31, posted on Facebook 10 minutes after she fatally shot her father, Mohamad Sharifi, and her brother-in-law, Sanjar Halin, explaining her motivations.
“Several months ago, I found out that my sister has been abused by her husband for 14 years (since they first met),” the woman wrote.
“He has choked her, slapped, kicked, swore at her & the most recent a year and a half ago has punched her in her face.”
Sharifi added that she was frustrated with the older men “because no one did anything about it” blaming her sister for the abuse.
“This whole mindset of 'just work it out' needs to change because it is not healthy. I will not deal with this nonsense,” she said.
Minutes later, Sharifi gunned down Abdul Halin in his parked car blocks away from the double-murder scene. She ultimately took her own life.
