President Biden tested positive for Covid-19 Friday, seven days after his physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor announced a rebound case.

Biden “continues to feel very well” with his cough “almost completely resolved.”

“His temperatures, pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation remain entirely normal,” O’Connor said noting that his lungs “remain clear.”

The doctor added that the President “will continue his strict isolation measures as previously described” and keep working from the Executive Residence.

Biden was “very specifically conscientious to protect any of the Executive Residence, White House, Secret Service and other staff whose duties require any (albeit social distanced) proximity to him.”
