Active duty Marine stabs pregnant wife to death during argument on Honolulu freeway

A 27-year-old pregnant woman was stabbed to death by her Marine husband during an argument on a Honolulu freeway on Wednesday.

Dana Alotaibi was reportedly three-month pregnant when Bryant Tejeda-Castillo stabbed her to death and fled to a wooded area where he tried to take his life.

The couple had been married for three years with the active duty Marine being abusive towards his wife who shared her tormented marital struggles on her social media accounts.

  • “Just want to know my daughter has plans to come back to Virginia, make her life, live with her kid because she was pregnant, so we get everything ready,” the victim’s distraught mother said.

    In a statement, Marine Corps Base Hawaii said that it is cooperating with the investigation.

    “The Marine Corps extends its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of those involved.”
