The badly decomposed body of a Tennessee woman was found in her trailer last weekend, Benton County Sheriff’s investigators said.
Deputies responded to the scene on Sunday over reports of a deceased person in a trailer and discovered the decomposing body of a woman believed to have resided there.

According to the sheriff's office, the victim’s body decayed quickly due to the lack of air conditioning in the trailer. The death is being investigated as heat-related.
Acquaintances of the deceased woman, who had not been identified pending next-of-kin's notification, plan to retrieve her pet cats; but until that, the Benton County Animal Shelter will take care of the pets.
