Teen sent death threats to Sheriff, wife over Rapper Young Thug’s incarceration

A Georgia teen is accused of sending death threats to a sheriff and his wife vowing to assassinate them if Rapper Young Thug wasn’t set free.

Quartavius Mender, 18, had allegedly written threatening comments on the Instagram section featuring Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat.

    “We take these kinds of brazen threats seriously,” Sheriff Labat said. “Social media cyberbullying, and hiding behind a keyboard will not protect someone from criminal prosecution.”

    Mender was arrested on May 26 facing 23 counts of making terroristic threats.
