A Georgia teen is accused of sending death threats to a sheriff and his wife vowing to assassinate them if Rapper Young Thug wasn’t set free.
Quartavius Mender, 18, had allegedly written threatening comments on the Instagram section featuring Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat.

He demanded Rapper Young Thug’s immediate release as he threatened Labat, his wife Jackie, and the Atlanta Public Schools Chief Ronald Applin.
“We take these kinds of brazen threats seriously,” Sheriff Labat said. “Social media cyberbullying, and hiding behind a keyboard will not protect someone from criminal prosecution.”
Mender was arrested on May 26 facing 23 counts of making terroristic threats.
