A Largo, Florida man found dead in Taylor lake Tuesday was likely the victim of a gator attack, local authorities said.
The 47-year-old man, whose name was not made public, was reportedly looking for frisbee in the waters at John S. Taylor Park when the animal attacked him.

A trapper is assisting the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission FWC as it investigates the incident.
“A contracted nuisance alligator trapper is working to remove a nearby alligator and efforts will be made to determine if it was involved in this situation,” FWC said.
Visitors of the park and nearby residents are urged not to venture around the area, swim in the lake, or near its edge.
