A mass shooting outside a San Bernardino hookah bar late Friday left 10 people injured, one fatally, according to local police reports.
The shooting started before midnight near the intersection of Palm and Highland avenues outside a hookah bar where a large crowd gathered for a party.
An eyewitness said that the party seemed like a graduation ceremony adding that the shooter followed fleeing teens across the street, hitting two girls at a nearby gas station.
A family said Saturday that their 21-year-old son was killed; the wounded sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to preliminary reports.
“Upon arrival, officers encountered a large crowd and learned that they were in the area attending a party,” San Bernardino Police said in a statement adding that the suspected shooter(s) remain at large.
