Riverside news, Florida news.

A Florida man had put the end to an “impossible situation” his family was living with two terminally-ill members before taking his own life Wednesday.

64-year-old Thomas Schultz died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound shortly after calling 911 to confess to the double murder-suicide at a Riverside home.

“I have to go, I’m fixing to shoot myself,” he reportedly uttered before ending the 911 call.

The 80-year-old wife was sleeping in her bed while her daughter was in a hospital bed with a feeding tube attached to her.

Schultz shot himself on the back porch of the house using a revolver after shooting both women to death.

“We have had no previous calls for service at this residence. None of the occupants have any type of criminal history,” the Sheriff added.
