Tough, undefeated German boxer collapses in ring after suffering fatal heart attack

An undefeated light heavy-weight German boxer collapsed in the ring and died from a heart attack over the weekend, reports said.

38-year-old Musa Askan Yamak suffered a fatal heart attack while facing Ugandan fighter Hamza Wandera Saturday in Munich, Germany.

    “We lost our compatriot Musa Askan Yamak, a boxer from Alucra, who won European and Asian championships, at a young age after a heart attack, “ Hasan Turan said on Twitter.

    The Turkish-born fighter gained popularity after winning the WBFed International title in 2021 and was undefeated with an 8-0 record all knockouts.
