Widow of slain NYC Chinese delivery worker gives emotional address at vigil

Through tears, the distraught widow of a slain Chinese deliveryman made an emotional plea for justice at a candlelight vigil on Wednesday.

Zhiwen Yan was 45 years old and a father of three working extra time as a delivery worker for Great Wall Chinese restaurant in Forest Hills when he was gunned down outside his workplace on April 30.

“New York City, you owe me a life…you owe me a husband…you owe an explanation to the Chinese community,” wife Kunying Zhao said.

    Police are suspecting a deranged customer of the eatery who had once vandalized the eatery and threatened staff with a gun.

    “He was only 45 years old. He should have been able to watch his children grow up, but everything ended. The criminal, the killer used one bullet – brutally ended his life.”
