Missouri family-of-4 killed in tragic car crash after shopping for Mother’s Day dinner

Authorities in St. Louis, Missouri are looking for the driver of a stolen Jeep that crashed into a minivan killing four family members shortly after they ran errands late Friday.

The deadly crash occurred at around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Delmar Boulevard and Pendleton Avenue and involved a stolen 2015 Jeep Cherokee “attempting to evade police at a high rate of speed.”

The Kia Sedona carried 56-year-old Anngelique Simmons, her daughter Rhonda Simmons, 34, and two uncles Ephrim and Luther Simmons, aged 47 and 43 respectively.

  • “They’re expecting me to bury my mother, my uncle, my other uncle, and my own sister,” Anngelique’s son Aaron Piggee said.

    “I shouldn’t have to right before Mother’s Day. They should be here. We were setting up dinner. We were going to Golden Corral or my grandma’s house.”

    Police said that two teen passengers of the stolen SUV were arrested but the driver remains at large.

    “I’m really angry. I’m sad…I’m going to fight for justice,” Piggee added.
