Recent poll shows Americans interested in Ukraine war; believe invaded country will win fight

A recent Fox News national survey revealed Wednesday that a vast majority of Americans are deeply focused on the Ukrainian war against Russia and hope to do more to help the invaded country win its fight for freedom.

85 percent of the surveyed believe that the war in Ukraine matters to the US and more than 60 percent think America should further help Ukrainians.

  • Asked whether they think Ukraine can survive the Russian invasion, 71% of voters answered yes, while 72 percent said they approve of President Zelenskyy’s leadership amid the unprecedented crisis.

    The poll was conducted from April 28 through May 1, 2022, and was directed by Beacon Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R).

    The surveyed were 1,003 randomly-selected, registered voters from across the country. The sample has a margin error of plus or minus three percentage points.
