A South Carolina woman has lost both arms after a vicious attack that involved three pit-bulls back last month.
Justin Minor, 36, was arrested on owning dangerous animals attacking human and other violations in connection with the incident detailed by police officer.
“She had bites from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet, including her whole entire body. It was one of the more gruesome animal attacks that I’ve ever seen in my career,” Abbeville County Sheriff’s Investigator Lt. Jeffrey Hines said.
“It was one of the more gruesome animal attacks that I’ve ever seen in my career.”
A farmer came to the woman’s rescue before being attacked himself; he fired shots to scare the canines off himself before calling police.
Minor had reportedly admitted that his dogs would “bite anyone” and that “once one tastes blood; that’s it.”
But he argued that his wife refused to let him euthanize the three pit-bulls claiming that they could be properly trained to change their aggressive behavior.
